Question: Does this “system” have a track record already?
Answer: The DEI system has been in use for thirty-one (31) years and has been used by over 10,000 companies around the world and over 500,000 salespeople. It was built from practical usage on the ground with managers and salespeople in the likes of BP, Allianz, Fifth Third Bank, Anthem, Fidelity, Colliers, Hobart, Citibank, Boise Office, Cox Media, GE Capital, Fujitsu, Honeywell, New York Times, Chevron Texaco, Mintel, Careerbuilder.com, Bowne, ADT, Dun & Bradstreet, Lexis-Nexis, Bloomberg, Reed Exhibition, Elsevier, CIGNA, Hyatt, UPS, AT&T, Cintas, Waste Management and Corporate Express.
Question: Is this just another piece of pipeline or dashboard software?
Answer: While it’s an application that is software-based, it’s the common language and the date-driven rules that links the software to the behavior of the salespeople. No other application has been designed – or is capable – of driving the correct sales behaviors. Otherwise, they would be producing accurate forecasts.
Question: I already have a sales methodology. Why would I need another one?
Answer: Most sales methodologies are more about workflow than about forecasting or driving daily sales behaviors. The test of any sales methodology is whether it is actually producing deadly accurate forecasts. The DEI app is based on a methodology that will enable the manager to directly influence daily sales habits and behaviors, in accordance with forecast and target requirements – and against the necessary timelines.
Question: Does the application involve a lot more work on the part of the salesperson?
Answer: No! It uses the existing Account and Opportunity data and requires a few drop-down menu actions.
Question: When I install this app, will it result in more reporting?
Answer: No! You will even find that you can actually drop some, many or frequently, all of your existing reports and dashboards.
